Award-winning facilities

Business classes are held in the stunning and modern Sir Owen G Glenn Building. Built in 2008, it contains lecture theatres, case rooms, computer labs, study rooms, a café and a bank. Business Masters students have access to a postgraduate lounge and dedicated labs.

Career support

Our Business School ASB Careers Centre, voted “Best New Zealand University Careers Service” by the New Zealand Association of Graduate Employers in 2017, will help get your career in business off to a strong start.

We also provide opportunities to network with employers at events on campus, which will increase your knowledge of the local business environment.

Our careers events include:

Careers expos
A chance to speak with employers and find out about the range of career paths available. See the organisations that attended our 2018 CDES Business Career Expo.

Speed networking events
An opportunity to network with representatives from a range of leading firms and find out more about their organisations. A special speed networking event is organised specifically for MIntBus and MMktg students to find a company to do their internship project with.

Employer recruitment presentations
A range of potential employers come on campus to present to students about employment opportunities with their companies. Recent company presentations have included McKinsey & Company, Deloitte, Disney, EY, PwC, Fonterra and The Boston Consulting Group.

Industry guest speakers
Throughout the Business Masters programmes we invite senior industry people from SMEs through to large corporates in to lectures to speak to students.
